Welcome to our magical little city by the Bay! If you've never been to San Francisco, we highly recommend taking an extra day to explore if you can. Below, and in no particular order, are a few of the bride and groom's favorite places to eat, drink, and more!
San Francisco truly has some of the BEST food. There's an option for every cuisine, price point, etc. but here are just a few of our top spots to grab a bite!

Bars are on every corner, so you don't need us to find one, but here are a few of our favorite watering holes:
*500 Club: $ | Mission | The definition of a dive bar, complete with a jukebox.
*The Royal Cuckoo: $ | Bernal Heights | Live organ/jazz bar with a cute patio in the back.
*The Pawn Shop: $$ | SOMA | Speakeasy that you enter through a "pawn shop" storefront. Bring a small trinket to exchange and gain entry.
*Zeitgeist: $ | Mission | Beer bar, mostly outdoor seating

*Vesuvio: $ | North Beach/Chinatown | Dive bar, cash only
*Blackbird: $$ | Duboce Triangle | Cute bar at the edge of the Castro
*Detour: $$ | Duboce Triangle | Arcade bar with delicious food, bar takes card but you'll need cash to play the games
π For anyone searching for an LGBTQ+ friendly establishment, try any of these in the Castro:
*For dancing - Beaux or Badlands (but go later)
*Casual vibes, outdoor seating options - The Mix, Toad Hall, Lookout, Copper
There's also Jolene's and Mother (lesbian bars) in the Mission and one of the oldest gay bars in the city, The Cinch on Polk St.
FYI - for anyone who doesn't drink alcohol, many of these establishments offer low/no ABV options!
If this is your first time traveling to San Francisco, or your 50th, we've included some of the can't-miss attractions the city has to offer.
Purchase your tickets well in advance as the tours do sell out. Multiple options available starting at $45pp.
*Golden Gate bridge
You can easily view the bridge from a few different vantage points, namely here and here. There are tours available and many visitors love to rent a bike to go across but you can enjoy the views and walk it for free.
*Lombard Street
Famously the most crooked street in San Francisco.
*Pier 39 + Fisherman's Wharf
This is a VERY touristy spot - great for grabbing souvenirs, checking out Ghirardelli Square, and watching the sea lions!
*Painted Ladies
Full House anyone? While you can't go inside, the park across the street is a great spot to catch your breath and take pictures of these iconic houses and view the city skyline.
For those of you who have visited San Francisco before, or are looking to mix in some more unique experiences, here are a few we recommend:
*Dolores Park
Great place to chill and spend a sunny day in the city.
An old church that's been converted to a roller skating rink. Make reservations in advance!
A bit off-beat but a fun experience to enjoy tea time with a small group. They welcome dressing up too if you love a theme!
*Haight/Ashbury Street
The birthplace of San Francisco's counter-culture in the late 60s, there are tons of vintage shops, cool bars, and people watching in this super-walkable neighborhood.
Amazing illusionist/magic show in an intimate setting. A little pricey but totally worth it!
